Beginning her career as a Marriage Commissioner of civil ceremonies in Napa Valley, California, Kimberly felt limited in this role because of her desire to do more for couples. She worked to become a non-denominational wedding officiant, studying 36 different cultures, gaining knowledge of different religions and learning of unique cultural traditions. After 2 years of study, A Beautiful Ceremony Napa Valley was born.
For the last 25 years, Kimberly has performed wedding ceremonies of all kinds throughout the country and abroad. Civil, religious, non-religious and interfaith, as well as wedding ceremonies performed in seven different languages, including for the hearing impaired and in Braille.
Kimberly Thompson grew up in Napa Valley, California and continues to live here with her family. Her success as a wedding officiant is due to her belief that a wedding ceremony should be personal and an expression of the couples unique relationship.
Getting to know her couples and developing friendships with them enables her to perform wedding ceremonies which are truly a reflection of their love, passion and commitment to one another.
Her passion and joy for working with wedding couples is matched only by her passion and love for animals. She is deeply committed to animal rescue, helping abandoned and abused animals to find loving and caring homes, and has 2 dogs which she has rescued herself.
